Yifan Zheng

Weiyi Zhang raised to 1,000 from the under-the-gun position and action folded to Michael Huang in late position. Huang three-bet to 5,000. Yifan Zheng four-bet shoved for a bit less than 20,000. Everyone folded and Zhang was up for the decision. Zhang looked at his cards once more and then decided to also go all-in, having both of his opponent covered. Huang snap-called for the 26,450 he had in front of him.

Yifan Zheng: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Michael Huang: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Weiyi Zhang: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, even though Zheng flopped a flush draw, it never materialized and he was sent to the cashier to reenter.

Befus Busted by Kuo

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Maxim Befus
Maxim Befus

Maxim Befus was sent to the cashier to pay for a reentry and Martijn Gerrits was kind enough to relate what had happened:

Kitty Kuo opened and Maxim Befus three-bet. Action folded back to Kuo who four-bet to put Befus all-in and Befus called,

Maxim Befus: {Q-}{Q-}
Kitty Kuo: {A-}{K-}

The ace on the board eliminated Befus from the tournament and he made his way to the cashier. When he reentered, he pulled the exact same seat as he was seated in before.

Pogodin Claims First Victim

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Jing Xiang Ong raised to 800 from under the gun and was called by Konstantin Pogodin in mid-position. Kevin Clark raised to 2,800 from the button and both Ong and Pogodin called.

The flop brought them the {6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, both Ong and Pogodin checked. Clark continued with a bet of 6,500. Ong raised to 20,000 and Pogodin decided to shove having both of his opponents covered. Clark glanced at his cards once more, shook his head and then folded. Ong called without hesitating.

Jing Xiang Ong: {A-Spades}{7-Spades}
Konstantin Pogodin: {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Ong had flopped a flush and open-ended straight draw and Pogodin flopped the higher open-ended straight draw.

The turn came with the {q-Diamonds} to give Pogodin the straight he needed to eliminate Ong. Ong needed a spade to double up.

The river completed the board with the {5-Clubs} to give Ong the lower straight and he was sent to the rail first.
