Takayama Only Sits Down for a Few Hands

Mike Takayama was a late registrant and shortly after sitting down he found himself doubling up Irshat Sharykhov, being left with only 25,000 after the hand.

A couple of hands went by before Takayama moved all in from the small blind for around 22,000 and Christopher Park called in the small blind, players turned over their hands.

Chen Continues to Grow

The turned board showed {4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, and there was around 40,000 in the pot. Kilian Loeffler checked to Jiang Chen who bet 35,000 and Loeffler check-raised to 85,000.

Chen used a full time extension before he would call and the dealer turned over a {4-Spades} on the river. Loeffler checked and Chen instantly announced that he was all in for 220,000. Loeffler tanked for a moment, but in the end he would hit the fold button, sending the hefty pot to Chen.

A big pot emerged with Christopher Park and Nan Hong still in action, with some 190,000 in the middle to the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} turn. Hong was the one that moved all in and Park asked for a count. The shove was for 187,000 in total and Park used one time bank before making the call.

Hyung Takes Some from Yu

The turned board had {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs} face up and around 11,000 in the pot. Lei Yu bet 5,500, Steve Hyung called and the {6-Spades} fell on the river.

Yu bet 20,500 and Hyung quickly raised to 72,500. Yu thought for a moment but in the end he folded and Hyung took down the pot.

Okada and Otani on Board

Norihiro Otani finished 11th in the 2019 Aussie Millions Main Event for A$123,000 and has joined the action along with fellow countryman Ken Okada. Kilian Loeffler also sat down recently and Dong Guo re-entered after he was eliminated at the end of the first level.

Haruta Secures a Pot

Koichi Haruta opened to 3,500 from late position, Jiang Chen called on the button, Dongsheng Peng stuck around in the small blind and Ken Okada three-bet to 15,000 from the button, Haruta and Peng were the only callers.

The dealer spread out {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} on the flop, action checked to Haruta who pushed in a bet of 18,000 and both of his opponents quickly mucked, shipping the healthy sized pot to Haruta.

Guo Eliminated by Zhang

On a heads-up flop of {j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}, Dong Guo ended up all in and was snap-called by Zibin Zhuang to immediately shake his head before revealing the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for eights and deuces.

Zhuang was well ahead with the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and had little to fear on a {5-Spades} turn and {7-Diamonds} river runout.
