Yu Doubles; Ye Triples

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Kelvin Yu got around 600,000 in with {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and held against the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Renjie Ye on a {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} runout to double up.

Ye then moved all in for 175,000 from the button and got calls from Yu and Sahil Chuttani in the blinds.

The two remaining players checked down a {3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} board. Yu showed {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Chuttani {k-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Ye tripled with {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a pair of jacks.

Chop-Chop? Not This Time

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Yong Hui Tan busted the Main Event in one of the worst possible ways. He was all in preflop with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} against Duc Trung Vu's {a-Spades}{q-Spades}.

The odds were favoring a split, but the deck had other plans, since the {3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} gave a flush to Vu, and Tan was left taking photos of the unlucky board that sent him out in 24th place.

Shinagawa Can't Be Stopped

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Another big pot went Shinagawa's way, and brought the elimination of Daji Chen. It was Shinagawa that opened the action with a raise, and Takayama along with Chen followed from the blinds.

The flop came {6-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Spades}, and after the blinds checked, Shinagawa bet 175,000. Takayama called, and Chen announced all in, for 400,000, a bet that both players flat-called, to bring that total size of the pot up to 1.4 million.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and the two active players in the hand checked.

The river was the {6-Diamonds}, and this time Shinagawa reached his hand to take some chips to bet, after Takayama's check, who instantly throwed his cards to the muck.

Chen had the second nuts in the flop with {q-Spades}{8-Spades}, but it wasn't enough since the turn have given a better flush to Shinagawa with {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

19 players remain in the field, and after one more elimination there will be a redraw for the final two tables.
