Japan's Hirotaka Nakanishi (1,870,000) is the aforementioned second biggest stack, while local player Florencio Campomanes (1,490,000) rounds up the top three stacks.

Notables still in the field are Xixiang Luo (1,070,000) with more than $1.7 million in total live earnings, Yvo Molin (1,225,000) who will look to go deeper than the 14th place he finished in the same event last year, and Jingzhi Wang (940,000), the only woman left in the field, and Day 1a's chip leader.

Play will resume at Level 24: 15,000/30,000 with a big blind ante of 30,000, while each level will last 60 minutes, and there will be a 10-minute break after every two levels.

Shinagawa Doubles Through Feng

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kei Shinagawa moved all in from under the gun for 540,000. Yikun Feng called in the hijack and the remaining players folded.

"Gamble," said Shinagawa showing {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} against the {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} of his opponent.

"It's not a gamble if you're ahead," said a tablemate.

Feng was ahead, but not for long as the {6-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop handed Feng a double to more than a million.

Wang Hits Straight Flush to Eliminate Liow

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Xinyu Wang has had a great start in Day 3, as after doubling up in one of the first hands, he just found a straight flush to eliminate Marcus Liow.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}, and Wang made a c-bet after raising preflop, while Liow was on the button and decided to raise to 250,000. Wang announced all in, Wang snap-called, and they went to showdown.

Marcus Liow: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Xinyu Wang: {7-Spades}{8-Spades}

Liow was in serious trouble as his opponent had already made a straight, and he was looking for some runner-runner cards to stay alive. The {10-Spades} brought excitement in the table, as Wang had made a straight flush to leave his opponent drawing dead.

The {6-Clubs} improved Liow to a full house, but it was just salt to his wounds, since there was no way he could win.
