Back in March, Uri Gilboa became Israel's first European Poker Tour Main Event champion after winning the EPT Sochi Main Event for ₽27,475,000 (~$420,000). We've seen Gilboa in action in the APPT National, and he will be hoping for a deep run in the APPT Manila Main Event.

He's taken his seat in the field at the same table as fellow Israeli player Eran Shaham.

All the players that didn't make it yesterday, and some who will fire a bullet for the first time today, will have the option of a single re-entry during the first nine levels that registration will be open.

Day 1b is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. local time, and today's play will have again 13 levels, after which the final field of Day 2 will be known.
