Aces Rebound in the Loss of Chang

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The odds were saying that aces should win a preflop all in at some point, and Tae Hoon Chang was the person that experienced it first hand, and not in a good way as he busted the Main Event.

He was all in with queens against his opponents aces, when the flop came {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}, and he was ready to deliver another bad beat for the aces.

The {5-Clubs} on the turn didn't change anything, but the {10-Clubs} on the river gave a straight to his opponent, and saw Chang hit the rail.

Duc Trung Vu: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Kevin Ayow: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

There was no help for Ayow on the {6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop and although the {8-Diamonds} turn gave him a gutshot, the river was the {8-Spades} and he was eliminated.

Another Brutal Beat for Aces

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Another preflop all in with aces, another lost pot, for the most powerful hand in No-Limit Hold'em. This time it was Armendariz In Santos who held the rockets and was hoping for a double up against his opponent's {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, to give two pair to Santos' opponent, and sent the Spanish player to the rail.

Chuttani Chipping Up Once More

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action was on a {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop and Sahil Chuttani check-called a bet of 160,000 from a single opponent.

The river was the {6-Spades} and Chuttani thought about betting before checking. His opponent similarly took his time before checking back.

Chuttani showed {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} for top pair and his opponent winced.

"Online I could have seen that," said Chuttani as he took down the pot. "I wanted to see what he had!"
