Chang Gets Short; Abbouchi and Galvez Double

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Mohamad Abbouchi
Mohamad Abbouchi

Chip leader Nam Hyung Kim pushed into the big blind of Mohamad Abbouchi and the latter called for the 62,000 he had behind.

Mohamad Abbouchi: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Nam Hyung Kim: {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop gave both players a piece and Abbouchi was somewhat surprised in jest as he held on the {a-Spades} turn and {6-Hearts} river.

Yu-Chung Chang tangled with the red-hot running Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer and bet the {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades} river for 80,000 with some 145,000 behind. Lovgren Fullmer pushed all-in and Chang asked for a count with one time bank behind. The request was declined as Lovgren Fullmer was sitting behind a massive stack and it was obvious Chang was covered by a mile.

His clock ran down and the hand was dead, leaving him with fewer chips and no time banks.

Last but not least, Renniel Galvez slow-played {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and got them in on a {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop for 178,000 when Ido Aboudi check-jammed the {j-Spades}{10-Spades}. The {2-Clubs} turn and {5-Hearts} river locked up the double for Galvez.
