The cards of Yoshitomo Ishii were already in the muck as he paid off a full double to fellow Japanese player Kento Chogo. On a board of A♠K♥10♥7♦5♥, the A♥K♦ for the top two pair were good enough for the double.
Ishii jammed his last 7,000 one hand later and Chogo couldn't call from the big blind, getting shown A♣K♠.
On the river of a K♠10♠5♠10♣3♣ board, Junya Kubo pushed all-in for 53,500 into a pot of around 42,000. Patrick Caalim went into the tank and ultimately folded as his opponent flashed the A♠. Further assorted counts late on Day 1b can be found below.
