We arrived at the table just as Kitty Kuo moved all in for her last 6,000 from late position. She was called by the player in the hijack, before another player in the blinds moved all in for his last 24,900 in chips. With the decision back on the player in the hijack, he also made the call.

Big Blind:
The board ran out to see Kuo river an ace to take down the main pot. The big blind ended up winning the side pot and moving up to 37,800, leaving the player in the hijack with 7,500 in chips.

You can tell we are nearing the end of day 1. Players are looking ahead to day 2 and want to make sure they make it. As a result, there are plenty of folds to a well-timed 3-bet and few flops are being seen. Even the chatter in the room has come down a few levels.
Billy "The Croc" Argyros opened to 2,000 from middle position and was snap called by the player to his left. Victorino Torres was in the cut off, and opted to raise it up to 6,500. The action folded back around to Argyros who folded, with the other player in the hand making the call.
The flop of saw an instant shove of 15,000 in chips from the other player in the hand, and Torres quickly made the call for his last 9,100 in chips.

Alvan Zheng, the current tournament chip leader, min-raised to 1,600 from UTG+1 and found callers from middle position, late position and the small blind.
The small blind checked to Zheng after seeing the flop. Zheng bet 3,200 which prompted everyone to fold. It's as if everyone wants a shot at his chips but no one really wants to tangle with him. Zheng is getting stronger as the day nears its end.
We came upon the table with a board showing and a bet of 3,000 in front of Kitty Kuo who was UTG. Action was on Christian Haggart who was giving the situation some serious thought before finally making the call. Kuo quickly checked when the river was dealt and Haggart hesitated as if he was contemplating a bet but ended up checking behind.
Kuo quickly revealed which was dwarfed by Haggart's . Following that hand their table broke which means Vivian Im, Percy Yung and Kitty Kuo are going their separate ways with just 30 minutes left to play.

Action folded to Billy "The Croc" Argyros who bet 2,500 from the button. The player in the small blind folded and Akira Ohyama was put to a decision. Some table talk happened that we didn't catch but was implied that Ohyama made the call because of what was said and the fact the Argyros said he only looked at one.
The hands looked like this when they were tabled:
Ohyama:
Argyros:
Ohyama couldn't find any clubs when the board ran out . Ohyama asked Argyros if he only looked at one. Argyros said yes. Akira said, "that is running really well. When I had an ace with a jack I thought I was good."
