Ken Demlakian
Ken Demlakian

It hasn't been hard catching Ken Demlakian in a hand and a check raise on the flop usually secures him the pot. It was a welcome surprise to see some multiway action with a showdown.

It all started with the player UTG+1 raising to 650. Three players came along to the flop including Demlakian, who was in the big blind. It checked around to the player in the cutoff who bet 1,200 on the {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop. Demlakian called the bet, as did the original raiser.

The turn came {8-Diamonds} and it checked around. Demlakian led for 1,500 on the {Q-Hearts} river, the player UTG+1 folded but the player in the cutoff called. Demlakian showed {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for two pair and another nice pot. His opponent slid his cards to the muck and Demlakian is now sitting nicely with about 46,000 in chips.
