Time Confusion for Internet Qualifier

In a multi-way raised pot, a short-stack came over the top and pushed the rest of his stack into the pot pre-flop. It was folded around quickly to an unknown Internet qualifier who appeared to be giving the decision much deliberation.

The player was not aware that the previous players had already folded and didn't realize the action was on him. After close to five minutes of apparent deep thought, the dealer called a tournament director over and called "time" on the player, giving him 60 seconds to act on his hand. The Internet qualifier suddenly realised that "time" was being called on himself and apologetically threw his card into the muck.
