Our Final Table is Set!

Play has now concluded for the evening with our final table set for tomorrow. As the players bag their chips, we'll have an update with the official chip counts for you shortly.

Mitchell Price Eliminated in 10th Position

Mitchell Price
Mitchell Price
Mitchell Price pushed the last of his chips into the middle holding {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and it was folded around to Barry Kohlhoff in the big blind. Kohlhoff squeezes one of his cards and sees the {A-Diamonds} which is enough for him to make the call. He then flips the other card and astonishingly it's the {A-Spades}!

The board brings {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Mitchell Price exits on the bubble of the final table in 10th place.

Balanced Tables?

One table has four of the top five chip leaders, and although the tables are balanced in number of players, there is a great inbalance in the number of chips in play on each. One table has roughly 8.5 million chips while the other is at around 2.5 million.

Mark Walsh Eliminated in 11th Position

Mark Walsh
Mark Walsh
In a battle of the blinds, Sol Bergren bets enough from the small blind to put Mark Walsh to a decision for his tournament life in the big blind. Walsh thinks for several moments, before deciding to make the call and the cards are turned:

Bergren: {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Walsh: {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

A great call by Walsh turns to disaster when the flop delivers a staggering {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to give Bergren a flopped straight! The turn and river blank and Walsh is eliminated in 11th place in devastating fashion.

Barry Kohlhoff Doubles Through Jeremiah Vinsant

Barry Kohlhoff may have just hit the flop of a lifetime in a pot against Jeremiah Vinsant that extended his tournament life. Kohlhoff moved all in pre-flop holding {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Vinsant made the call with {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The flop came {10-Spades}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades} giving Kohlhoff the nut straight which would be plenty to take down the pot and 350,000 in new chips.
