Levy's Million Chip Pot!

Grant Levy is on fire and has just captured one of the biggest pots of the tournament so far!

Levy raised pre-flop to 45,000 and chip leader Lei He re-raised to 110,000. Levy then came over the top for all of his 490,000 in chips and Lei He insta-calls.

Grant Levy: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Lei He: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

Levy was in trouble when the flop brought {7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. A {5-Hearts} on the turn was no further help and Levy was left needing a miracle. The {J-Diamonds} on the river and the poker room erupts as Levy catches an amazing two-outer on the river to snag a million chip pot!

Colin Ford Wins Huge Pot

Mark Walsh raises pre-flop to 50,000 and Rabii Maatouk pops it up to 200,000. Colin Ford in the big blind then comes over the top of both players for 394,000 in total. Walsh folds, but Maatouk makes a pot-committed crying call.

Ford: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Maatouk: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The board comes {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, leaving Maatouk with only 200,000 in chips while Ford jumps to 870,000 chips.

Davoud Khajeh Eliminated in 24th Position

Lei He raises it up before the flop to 35,000 chips and Davoud Khajeh pushes all in for 390,000. Lei He thinks for a while, and since Khajeh had been playing "all in or fold" poker for a lot of the day, Lei He decides to make the call:

Lei He: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Khajeh: {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The window card flashes an ace and the crowd on the rail cheer, but the rest of the flop reveals {Q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and Khajeh's excitement is short lived as Lei He hits his set of queens. The {K-Clubs} on the turn and {J-Clubs} on the river result in the day of Davoud Khajeh ending in 24th place.

Sid Kim Takes 25th

Sid Kim, who made the final table of the APPT Seoul Main Event which took place a couple of months back, has just been eliminated from the tournament by Larry Wright. With 200,000 already in the pot and the board showing K-3-K, Wright passed the first action to Kim, who moved all in for a total of 255,000 holding pocket queens. Wright ended up making the call with pocket aces and the board blanked out, giving Wright the checkmark for the hand.

Kim took home $14,963 in prize money for his 25th place finish.

Trong Son Dao Eliminated in 26th Position

With the board showing {K-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Spades} Lei He fired out a bet of 60,000. Trong Son Dao re-raised over the top for 208,000 in total. Lei He makes the call as we head to a showdown:

Lei He: {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Trong Son Dao: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Needing an ace or a spade to stay alive, the {10-Diamonds} on the river was no help and sent Trong Son Dao to the rail in 26th place, leaving Lei He as a massive chip leader with close to 1.5million in chips.

Alexander Estrellado Eliminated in 27th Position

Alexander Estrellado moved his last 105,000 into the pot pre-flop and found himself two callers in Colin Ford and Scotty Nguyen.

Estrellado held {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} but his opponents gave him no assistance when they both checked down a board of {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Nguyen flipped over {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} but the {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} of Ford gave him the pot and ended the run of Estrellado in 27th place. Nguyen falls to 280,000 while Ford jumps up to in excess of half a million in chips!
