Bell Hot and Bothered

Emanuel Bell plays with his heart on his sleeve. His fiery emotions were already on display here this afternoon. With action coming to Bell in the 9-seat preflop, the dealer thought Bell had surrendered his hand and pulled the cards into the muck. Bell was furious and tried to grab them back out. His actions brought an uproar from the rest of the table, with David Steicke immediately requesting a floor.

Floor supervisor Dave Lamb came and listened to what happened. He then told Bell that, although the dealer had mucked the cards in error, Bell had a responsibility to protect his own hand. That response fanned the flames of Bell's anger even higher.

"He's supposed to ask!" Bell protested. "He's not supposed to touch." Casey Kastle tried to intervene but Bell ignored Kastle and continued to rant.

"This is bullsh*t! How is this my fault? I'm just supposed to take it on the chin then? Fine." He heaved a deep breath and took a short walk away from the table to try to calm down.
