Beattie's Steal Backfires

When the action folded to Kelvin Beattie on the button he moved all in for his last 70,000 chips hoping to steal the blinds but it wasn't going to be that easy as Christian Heich made the call in the big blind.

Heich:

The board landed {8-Hearts}

and Heich collected the pot to end the tournament for Beattie.

Delaney Eliminated After Running into Aces Again

Ben Delaney ran into aces earlier in the day holding {K-Diamonds}

(and ultimately lost the hand to Clint Jordanou's {A-?}

). He ran into aces a second time after he moved all in from the button for 79,000 and Rodney Snider called. Delaney showed {Q-Clubs}

and was dismayed to see Snider's {A-Spades}

. Each player made a full house on a board of {J-Hearts}

. Snider's full house was best. Delaney, therefore, is out.

Jim Ghobrial was down to his last 35,000 chips and moved them in preflop hoping to steal the blinds with his {10-Hearts}

but couldn't get past the {A-?}

of Steve Bouya.

A king on the flop was enough for Bouya to take the pot and eliminate Ghobrial from the tournament.

We didn't see who was the one to move in first, but Christian Heich wound up all in against Kelvin Beattie. Beattie showed {Q-Hearts}

against Heich's {7-Diamonds}

but lost the hand. Heich spiked a seven on the flop, {7-Clubs}

, and never looked back. He now has 180,000 chips while Beattie is left to struggle with 70,000.
