Griffiths Grabs the Early Chip Lead

Antonio Fazzolari put in quite a bit of work to build his starting stack from 5,000 to about 18,000. Turns out it was all for nothing. He played a three-handed pot with Tony Paino and David Griffiths. The dealer spread out a flop of {J-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}. We're not sure what the action was before we walked up to the table, but 7,000 chips were in the middle. Fazzolari moved all in for 14,500 total. Paino called all in for less.

Griffiths must have imagined both Fazzolari and Paino turning into giant sacks of money (complete with dollar signs painted on them). He over-called for his last 10,500 and tabled {2-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} for a set of deuces. Each of his opponent showed ace-king; neither improved on the turn {6-Diamonds} or river {10-Clubs}. Griffiths scooped the whole 32,000 chip pot, sending Paino to the rail in the process and knocking Fazzolari all the way back down to 4,100.
