Saab's Aces Cracked, Then Eliminated

With blinds at 150-300, David Saab opened to 700 on the button and Graeme Putt made the call.

On a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, Saab bet 600 and was check-raised to 2,600 by Putt. Saab then moved all in and Putt made the call.

Putt: {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Saab: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

As the turn was about to be dealt, Saab jumped from his chair and screamed, "Alright, hold up!" However when the {J-Hearts} fell on turn, Saab would need some help. The {10-Diamonds} hit the river Saab slipped to only 2,400 in chips.

On the following hand, Saab got his last few thousand in chips into the middle with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} agasint Putt's {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. The board would fill out {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{A-Clubs} to see Putt take the game and a one-zero lead into their second match.
