Comer Casualty

We have already seen a few players reaching their rebuy limit and exiting to the rail.

Martin Comer was one casualty after going through three rebuys in three consecutive hands. As Comer departed Tino Lechich and Kelly Kim both took their seats on the table.

We've already lost a couple of players from today's event. Interestingly, they chose to not bother to rebuy and simply exited the tournament floor. The latest casualty came at the hands of Ivan Demidov who cracked his opponent's pocket aces with {6-?}

Players are still taking their seats as we close in on level two. Alexander Kostritsyn, Ivan Demidov, Kelly Kim, Neil Channing and Michael "Timex" McDonald are standing up for the international brigade.

While on the home front Jeff Lisandro, Garry Benson, Sam Youssef and last year's Champion Michael Pedley have also taken their seats.

Tournament Director Jonno Pittock has just announced that the table that purchases the most rebuys will receive a free round of drinks. The early prediction is Table 30, which features Tony Dunst, Grant Levy, Sorel Mizzi, Eric Assadourian and Josh "JJProdigy" Field.

Field has already been active early to climb out to a healthy 16,000.

Welcome back to the Crown Poker Room for our continued coverage of the 2009 Aussie Millions Poker Championships.

After a few days of limit variations, today we hit the other end of the scale with the fast-paced excitement of the $1,150 No-Limit Hold'em with Rebuys event. We're expecting plenty of gambling and general degeneracy today as players look to accumulate a big stack early on.
