The dream is over and it's back behind the laptop for PokerNews general Garry Gates after he was busted at the hands of Sarvesh Pershad.

Pershad raised preflop to 5,000 and Gates called to go heads-up to a flop of {7-Spades}

.

Pershad opened for 6,500, Gates raised all in and Pershad called tabling {K-Spades}

ahead of Gates' {A-Diamonds}

The turn of the {7-Hearts}

filled up Pershad, but Gates could still win with any ace on the river or the case seven - but the {6-Clubs}

didn't exactly fit the description.

Gates is busto; Pershad has cracked the 100,000 mark.

Right Time for Wong

Jimmy Wong is up to 70,000 in chips after managing to claim a double KO as we approach the halfway mark of the final level of this flight.

An opponent under the gun moved all in for 12,500 before another in middle position re-shoved for 39,000. The action folded around to Wong who called from the big blind.

Middle position: {k-Spades}

The board was spread {9-Diamonds}

and Wong's eights held up to take the other two players out.

Rubie Doubles Up

Brendon Rubie is back up to 75,000 in chips after managing to double up through an opponent.

The action folded around to Rubie who raised to 6,500 preflop before the player in the small blind made the call.

The dealer produced a flop that read {8-Diamonds}

; the small blind checked, Rubie shoved for 26,100 and the small blind called, tabling {j-Hearts}

for an overpair but Rubie had robbed him of his lead with {7-Diamonds}

for bottom two pair!

Needing any jack for some true justice, the turn and river ran out {4-Hearts}

to see Rubie double through.

Mastorakos Slips

Jim Mastorakos found himself calling two all-in players on the last hand on his table.

We caught the action just as the cards were tabled and Mastorakos looked in great shape to surpass the 200,000 chip mark:

and Mastorakos was livid. He watched as about 30,000 in chips was cut out of his stack and shipped over - however he can take comfort in the fact that he tops our chip counts with 174,700!
