Michael Guts A Man

Michael Guttman has dispatched another opponent, the button shoved for 2,700 and Guttman was more than happy to call from the big blind with {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}, miles ahead of the {J-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} that his opponent produced.

A board of {A-Spades} {7-Spades} {10-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs} was more enough to add another 3,000 or chips to Guttman's stack.

Brkovic Adds To Stack

Aleks Brkovic raised to 525 from middle position, receiving one caller from the cut-off before the button moved all-in for 1,200. Brkovic moved all-in behind for protection and the cut-off folded.

Brkovic: {7-Spades} {7-Hearts}
Button: {Q-Clubs} {9-Clubs}

Board: {K-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {J-Spades}

Brkovic is up to 8,000 as a result.

Prifti Runs Into Set

Angelo Prifti has been eliminated after calling raises on the flop, and then for his last chips on the turn on a board of {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Prifti was hoping {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} was good but he found himself drawing dead against Shane Ronan's {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Prifti was sent to the rail as Ronan stacks up 21,000 chips.

Sherif in Strife

Sherif Derias limped in from early position before the action folded around to Lisa Walsh who raised to 800 from the lowjack position. The player in the cutoff called, only to see the button reraise all in for 1,550.

Peter Aristidou folded from the small blind, Clonie Gowen folded from the big blind and Derias shoved over the top to get the others out of the way.

Button: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Derias: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The board was spread {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}; the opponent's overpair improved to the nut flush and good enough to double up. However Derias is in trouble, now on just 2,700 in chips.

JP Finds The River

English double bracelet holder JP Kelly lead out for 2,600 on a {9-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {3-Hearts} flop, only to see his opponent check-raise all-in for 10,000 total.

Kelly quickly called with {J-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} for overs and a straight draw against his opponent's {K-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}. The {4-Hearts} turn helped neither player but Kelly made the nuts on the river with the {7-Diamonds} to boost him up to 24,000.

Karamalikis On The Up...

Jonathan Karamalikis is up to 30,000 after firing 1,100 on the flop and 2,425 on the turn of a {10-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {4-Spades} {Q-Spades} board. Both he and his opponent checked the river before Karamalikis showed {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} which was good for the pot.

Brkovic Chips Up

Alex Brkovic raised to 750 from under the gun and the action folded around to Milan Gurung who called from the small blind to go heads-up to the flop that read {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Gurung check-called Brkovic's bet of 1,050 and did the same after Brkovic's bet of 1,200 on the turn of the {3-Clubs}. Both players checked on the river {2-Diamonds}; Brkovic tabled {k-Spades}{q-Spades} and Gurung flashed a {K-Diamonds} before sending his hand into the muck.

Brkovic is up to 12,000 while Gurung shrinks to 10,000.
