Gates Gains Momentum

The Gates-train is back on track after two hands went the way of Garry Gates to eliminate an opponent. The first hand saw Gates raise under the gun with pocket tens before committing all of his chips on the {8-Hearts}

flop. His opponent called with {Q-Hearts}

for a flush draw.

The turn gave Gates a set when the {10-Diamonds}

bricked on the river.

A few moments later Gates was at it again, raising up {A-Hearts}

and firing bets on the flop and turn before checking down the river on the {A-Clubs}

board. Gates' hand was good as he steamrolls his way up to 43,000.
