Daniel Neilson Eliminated in 4th Place ($44,100 AUD)

It took four hours and 53 minutes of four handed play, but finally we're down to three players remaining.

Daniel Neilson would become the player to finally submit, putting Mel Judah's 3am-4am prediction firmly on course.

Neilson open raised to 24,000 and Kristian Lunardi came over the top for 60,000. Neilson shipped in for 610,000 and Lunardi called.

Neilson: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Lunardi: {A-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} finally breaking the stalemate. Lunardi is up to 1.5 million in chips, as he looks to go on with play from here.

Stecker Proves Thorn In Lunardi's Side

Mike Stecker is proving a right royal pain for Kristian Lunardi. Stecker just doubled through Lunardi to cut his lead in half. Stekcer shoved with {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Lunardi called with {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

The flop of {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Spades} gave both players a piece, but kept Stecker in front. The {3-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Diamonds} river meant that Stecker held up.

He advances to 705,000. Lunardi is down to 1,050,000 in chips.

Margets Moving On Lunardi

Leo Margets is seemingly moving on Kristian Lunardi. Margets got the best of two recent exchanges between the pair.

In the first Margets opened to 60,000 and Lunardi came over the top for 135,000. Margets shoved and Lunardi folded.

The next time they clashed Lunardi opened to 50,000 and Margets pushed over the top. Once again Lunardi folded pretty quickly.

Margets is up to 1,000,000 in chips. Lunardi is down to about 900,000.

Mel Judah - You Were Wrong

Well actually he was definitely more right than we were thinking. But it's after the 4am that he predicted and we're still three handed. It's getting towards the stage where we're thinking that this could go through to the 2011 Aussie Millions.

Leo Margets Eliminated in 3rd Place ($58,400 AUD)

Leo Margets has just been eliminated in 3rd place.

Margets called all in with {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} against Kristian Lunardi's {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} flop put Lunardi in front, and he wouldn't look back. The board completed with the turn {7-Spades} and river {j-Diamonds} to send Margets out of the tournament.

Lunardi and Stecker are relatively even in chips coming into heads up.
