Those spare seats are filling up fast, and we've just seen 2005 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Hachem take his seat, along with Jim Sachinidis, Nick Kaselias, [Removed:415], Robert Wang, Warwick Mirzikinian, Shawn Buchanan, Joe Hachem, Ben Delaney, Angelo Prifti, Michael Guttman and Adam Kane.

Sorry I'm Late!

It's still very slow going in this first level and we've seen another set of poker's finest stream in late to this tournament.

2006 Aussie Millions Main Event champion Lee 'Final Table' Nelson has just taken his seat, as well as Sammy Khouiss, Ben Delaney, Rody Kaka and the one and only Ali 'Peppermint Hippo' Khalil!

Huntly Doubles Up

We caught the action on a flop of {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} between Dennis Huntly and two other players.

Huntly checked from the small blind position, as did the player from UTG before another opponent in middle position led out for 175.

Huntly then check-raised to 1,000, but to his surprise the UTG player called before the middle position player got out of the way.

"So it's going to be like that, is it?" quipped Huntly before the dealer produced the turn of the {10-Diamonds}.

Huntly then led out for 2,500, the UTG player raised him all in and Huntly snap-called.

Huntly: {k-Spades}{5-Spades}
UTG: {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The river {q-Diamonds} completed the board; Huntly's king kicker was best and it takes him up to 17,500 in chips.

Neilson Chips Up Early

Catching the action on the turn on a board of {3-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{K-Hearts}, the action checked to Daniel Neilson on the button who fired 1,375 into the pot. His lone opponent in the small blind asked for a count of Neilson's stack before committing to a call.

The river brought the {7-Spades} and the small blind led out for 2,175 but Neilson was having none of it, sliding all 6,000 of his chips into the middle. His opponent quickly gave it up and flashed {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

Neilson didn't show as he raked in a nice pot to move up to around 13,000 chips.

How it Works

Today's structure has each player starting with 10,000 in chips with blind levels of 60 minutes' duration.

This tournament will continue until we reach our final table, which will commence at 2.15pm tomorrow afternoon.
