Savage Tamed

Ben Savage went down-swinging out the door just before the break.

He found himself with just 15,000 after flopping trips and running into a flopped full house.

That cooler was closely followed by his elimination after running {A-Clubs}{j-Hearts} into {Q-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The opponent promptly flopped a set and added insult to injury by catching a runner-runner full house on the turn and river.

Savage was in good company with Gary Benson left to enjoy the air conditioning in the media lounge, after failing to improve with {A-Clubs}{k-Spades} against an opponent with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

Folding Full Houses

It's always fun to see people make good folds, unless your the person who was about to cooler them.

Camil Debsia recently got a taste of that feeling against Michael Tureniec. We caught action at the turn with the board reading {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} Debsia had just checked, and was now facing a 2,400 chip bet from Tureniec.

He made the call and the {5-Diamonds} hit the river. Debsia checked again and Tureniec led 5,200. This time Debsia came over the top for his entire stack and Tureniec went into the tank.

After a while he folded showing the {3-Diamonds} for the smaller full house of the two obvious ones.

"Wow you folded a full house," said Debsia. "I wish you didn't," he added, turning over his {6-Spades}{7-Hearts} for the bigger full house, proving Tureniec's read to be spot on.

Debsia now has 42,000. Tureniec has 37,000.

Glazier Doubles Up

The action folded around the opponent in the hijack position who raised limped in, only to see Jackie Glazier move all for 11,800 from the cutoff. The hijack player made the call.

Glazier: {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Hijack: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The board was spread {6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, doubling Glazier up to around 24,000 in chips.

Rosenkrantz Roasted

Jay Rosenkrantz has been eliminated after shoving all in preflop.

The short-stacked Rosenkrantz moved all in with {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and ran bang smack into the {A-Clubs}{a-Spades} of Matt Rolfe.

The board ran out {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to make a full house for Rolfe and sent Rosenkrantz rolling to the rail.

Pershad in Charge

An opponent in the big blind and Sarvesh Pershad were heads-up into a flop of {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} when we caught the action.

Both players checked, but when the dealer produced the {7-Hearts} on the turn, the big blind player led out for 22,000. Pershad moved all in for around 80,000 and the big blind snap-called.

Big blind: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Pershad: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Pershad had plenty of outs to double up, and BANG - down came the {6-Hearts} on the river for the flush!

The opponent is still in but looking a little light; Pershad is now topping the chip counts on 190,000.

Gradzki Gone

The action folded around to Darren Gradzki who moved all in for 9,200. The small blind folded and Sherif Derias called from the big blind.

Gradzki: {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Derias: {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The flop of {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts} put Gradzki further ahead and he improved to two pair when the {10-Hearts} fell on the turn. However an ace fell on the river; Derias scores Broadway and Gradzki gets a trip to the bar.

Kelly KO's Zmukic

Vesko Zmukic has just been eliminated at the hands of Aidan Kelly after getting his money in the middle preflop with {a-Spades}{4-Spades}, only to be called down by Kelly's {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

The board was spread {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}; Zmukic goes bye-bye. Kelly is up to 80,000 in chips.
