Gray Cruising

Jason Gray is on a rampage of late moving up to over 280,000.

Gray took down Garry Pereira in a preflop clash after Pereira pushed {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Gray called with {Q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

Pereira would have doubled through had Gray not caught the river on the {4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board.

Aidan Kelly Axes Another

Aidan Kelly has come from behind to take another player out of the tournament.

With all the chips in preflop, Kelly's {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} trailed the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of his opponent.

The {8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop left the possibilty of a chop open, but the {4-Hearts} on the turn meant that Kelly could take the whole thing with a flush on the river.

It hit with the {2-Hearts} moving Kelly to 113,000.

Three Way Action Preflop

Chris Chronis had just pushed into pocket Aces and pocket Kings. He wasn't liking his pocket Fives as much.

He would be up against James Keys {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for all the chips, and David Lacchia's {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for the main pot.

The {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} left things looking bleak for Chronis. That all changed with the {5-Spades} turn which rocketed him to the front, but left Lacchia drawing to the flush on the river.

The {6-Spades} arrived on the river to leave the dealer with a headache.

In the end Chronis took 72,000 from the sidepot, Lacchia's flush chipped him up to 135,000, while Keys dropped to 60,000.

Whoops!

We caught the action on a flop that read {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} between Grant Levy and Fred Lum; Levy led out for 13,500 but Lum made it 30,000 to go.

Levy called, then checked to Lum when the dealer produced the {a-Clubs} on the turn.

Lum went to pick up about 30,000 for a bet, but 11,500 dropped out of his hand and the dealer called it as a string bet.

No matter though; Levy wasn't having any part it, throwing his hand into the muck.

Lum is up to 170,000 while Levy slips to 130,000.

Not Happening Again

James Keys had his money in front against Chris Chronis again. This time he just needed to hold up.

Keys had {A-Hearts}{a-Spades} and led against Chronis' {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. The pot would be worth a 109,000 to Keys but he still had the board run.

The {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop was all clear, as was the {2-Diamonds} turn. The dealer took time to peel off the river card which was the {5-Clubs} to double him through and almost send Chronis back to the felt at 10,500.

Kingston Doesn't Have Nine Lives

Anthony Kingston dodged death when shipping with {7-Hearts}{8-Spades} against Jeff Duvall's {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

Kingston flopped nicely on the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, but the {6-Spades} turn left him on the brink of elimination. The river {5-Hearts} brought salvation putting a straight on the board and chopping the pot.

A few hands later he looked set to double up with {Q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} against his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

The {7-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop put him back on the edge of elimination, and this time there would be no escape with the {6-Spades} turn and {7-Diamonds} river ending his run.
