Deals Made, Chips Shoved

Level 12 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Before the hand the three tried to strike a bit of a deal. Trickett wanted no part of it, but they decided to save $100k, creating a third place prize of $1.1 million and a second place prize of $1.4 million.

When the cards were dealt, Erik Seidel had the button, and there was a dead small blind with David Benyamine in the big blind. Seidel bumped it up to 65,000 and Benyamine moved all in.

Seidel said "Really? Holy shit!"

He then folded, while saying "this could be a mistake."

The board ran out {2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts} eliminating Qiang in fourth place.

Trickett Pushed 'Em Around

Level 12 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

David Benyamine had the button with Sam Trickett and Erki Seidel in the blinds. Benyamine decided to test his position making a raise to 68,000. Trickett, however decided to re-raise getting an insta-muck from Benyamine.

We think it's safe to say Benyamine failed his test.

Richard Yong Eliminated in 5th Place

Wang Qiang had the button, with David Benyamine and Sam Trickett in the blinds. Richard Yong open-shoved, and his Wang Qiang made the call.

Richard Yong: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Wang QIang: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Board: {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The board gave no help to Yong, and gave Qiang a set on the river just for good measure.

Wang Qiang is now sitting on about a 650,000 in chips.

Benyamine Folds to Trickett

Level 12 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

From under-the-gun, Sam Trickett made it 60,000. Action folded around to David Benyamine in the big blind who made the call.

Flop: {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Both players checked to the turn which brought the {5-Clubs}. Benyamine tossed out 80,000. Trickett raised to 200,000, and after some thought, Benyamine folded.

Chris Ferguson Eliminated in 6th Place

Level 12 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Chris Ferguson

Erik Seidel had the button, and Richard Yong and Chris Ferguson were in the blinds. Sam Trickett made it 60,000 to go, Yong made the call and Ferguson called as well.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and all three players checked.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and Yong checked, allowing Ferguson to bet 125,000. Trickett stared at the board, and counted a stack of yellow, 5k chips that were in his left hand before announcing he was all in. Yong forgot it was on him before finally folding, and Ferguson quickly made the call. Once again, Trickett flopped huge holding pocket fives, which had Ferguson's pocket deuces crushed.

Chris Ferguson: {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Sam Trickett: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The river would bring "Jesus" no miracles, and Trickett was shipped about 500,000 more chips.

We're unable to get an exact count on Trickett, as there has been a good bit of fluctuation, but we think he's on about 2.5 million as we approach the money bubble.
