Event #1: No-Limit Hold'em
Day 1c Started
This is it! The final chance to secure a day 2 birth in Event 1: $1,100 Opening Event at the 2011 Aussie Millions!
A total of 286 sat at the felt yesterday for day 1b of this event, and after 12 grueling levels 42 remained, while 244 were sent home licking their wounds but with the ability to come back today and try it all again. That brings the total to 580 entries over the last few days, with today set to make that number soar!
The action will kick off today at 12:30 EST, with this day of the tournament historically drawing the most numbers as the weekend warriors come out to play, more players role into Melbourne and those who fell by the wayside in the last few days have another try at making day two.
Some players who have so far tried and failed to progress in this event include Annette Obrestad, James Akenhead, Maria Ho and Tony Dunst and as such they are expected to make another appearance today to take their final shot!
With the sun finally shining in Melbourne, players arriving by the droves and no chance to re-enter in this event, expect today’s action to be the most exciting and intense of the tournament series so far. We will again be at Crown Casino to catch every three-bet, four-bet and five-bet, so be sure to stay tuned to our PokerNews Live Reporting Team to catch all the action unfold!

Again, players will start with 10,000 chips with levels of 40 minutes.
Unlike the last few days however, this is it! Players will not have a chance to re-enter, with the day playing out like a standard freezout tournament.

Ben "CNT_CRUSHER" Delaney is already feeling the grind. Delaney was in the blinds when a middle position player raised it to 250, Delaney the call we would see a flop.
When the flop turned over and the agressor led out, Delaney made the fold and exasperatedly quipped, "Grind, grind... and it's only the third hand."
With twelve levels of play today, Delaney couldn't be more right. Still a long way to try and survive!
The first level is coming to it's final hands and their are still many players yet to be seated!
There is still a line stretching halfway through the Crown Casino Poker Room, with the players watching on, eager to take their seats. The field is seat to eclipse the entries of the last two day ones.

Our PokerNews reporter came to the action as the turn card was being placed on the table, with Tony Dunst in the hand against one opponent.
Board:
The on the turn brought a bet of 800 from Dunst's opponent and with a call we would see a river.
River:
The initial bettor made it 2,600 to call, at which point Dunst shoved all in. Dunst had his opponent covered but a call would leave him crippled.
A snap call would leave Dunst just as crippled, and that't what his opponent did, turning over for a turned wheel and a rivered 6-high straight.
Dunst showed , his hand going into the muck and leaving him with only 1,600 early in the day.
