Thorson Feeling Sore

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

William Thorson has now been crippled to just 50,000 in chips as Graeme "Kiwi G" Putt continues to apply the pressure.

After a raised pot preflop, Putt and Thorson went heads-up to the flop of {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Putt check-called Thorson on the flop and then check-called Thorson's bet of 40,500 on the turn of the {6-Clubs}.

Putt then led out for 80,000 on the river of the {10-Clubs}; Thorson thought about it for some time before making the call, only to angrily muck after Putt showed {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

The dealer motioned to begin grabbing the chips, which sent Thorson on tilt. "Are you in a hurry?" Thorson snapped before splashing the stacks over to him. One thing's for sure - Putt's certainly in no hurry, as he's up to 400,000 in chips!
