Number Crunchin' (Pt. I)

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

It's official - the number of players in today's $2,200 No Limit Hold'em Six Handed event is 225, which has generated a tasty AUD $450,000 in prize money.

At present, there are 144 players remaining - we'll have the prizepool dividends for you as soon as we can in Pt. II of Number Crunchin'.

Ouch!

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Frederik Jensen has copped a brutal beat at the hands of Roy Vandersluis and as a result has been crippled down to just 3,000 in chips.

All the money was in the middle on the turn on a board that read {2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}; Jensen had flopped a full house with his {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, but the rest of the table gasped as Vandersluis showed {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a bigger full house!

The river {4-Spades} completed the board and Vandersluis is now up to 13,500 in chips.

Aussie Millions: Around The Horn

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

The action between the 120 players here in this event has slowed down considerably, but we can report that Amanda De Cesare has been amongst the latest to have hit the rail. In the meantime, here's a quick look at what's going on around us.

  • Aussie Millions Main Event: Nine players remain. Patrik Antonius still alive, but Chris Moorman the outright chip leader with 2,000,000. Randy Lew just eliminated in 10th place, but almost everyone left has over 1,000,000 in chips.
  • Event #13 - Australian Heads-Up Championship: After some delay, the second Day 1 flight is underway. Full Tilt Red Pros Carlos Mortensen, Scott Montgomery and Nikolay Evdakov in action.
  • Event #15 - $10,000 8-Game Mixed: Team Full Tilt Pro Andy Bloch has just taken down the title and AUD $105,000 in prize money after defeating Maria Ho heads-up. Robert Campbell, Justin Smith and Mike Watson also cashed.

Recent Eliminations

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Just as we came back from the break, we noticed that Tyron Krost and Jackie Glazier had not returned to their seats.

As it turned out, Krost was eliminated when he ran his {A-}{6-} into the {J-}{J-} of Robbie Verspui, while Glazier was felled by Ami Barer after she moved the last of her chips into the middle on a flop that read {7-}{7-}{9-} with {3-}{3-}, only to be busted by Barer's {8-}{7-}.
