Reijmer Finally Gives One Up

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Daniel Reijmer raised from under the gun to 900. Charles Chua called from middle position and Andrew Scott called from the cutoff seat. The big blind also called and the four players saw the flop come down {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

The big blind checked and Reijmer stayed aggressive as he has done all tournament with a bet of 2,300. Chua raised him to 5,100 and Scott folded. The big blind also folded before action fell back on Reijmer. What had happened next was something that we hadn't seen much of in this tournament from Reijmer. He folded and lost a pot. He's back to 93,000 now.

Wise To Fold?

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

A middle postion player would raise to 1,000 before action would be folded around to Melanie Weisner in the big blind. Making the call, we would see the flop.

The {j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} on the flop and Weisner would check to her opponent. He made it 1,600 and after Weisner made the call we would see the {10-Clubs} roll off on the turn. Again Weisner would elect to check, enticing a 2,100 chip bet from her opponent. Weisner called and would see the {a-Hearts} hit the river.

Weisner would again check and watch as her oppponent made it 4,500. Weisner tanked for around a minute before letting go of her hand.

While taking a slight hit, the Full Tilt Poker Red Pro is still healthy with an above average 33,000 chip stack.

Tanking Topakas

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Steve Topakas just saw himself tank for almost two minutes when involved in this pot with Melanie Weisner.

Topakas raised to 1,375 and sent all players to the muck except Weisner in the small blind who would three-bet to 4,375. Topakas made the call and watched the {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts} turn over on the flop.

Weisner led out for 5,925 and sent Topakas deep into the tank. Topakas thought and thought as time rolled on before asking how much Weisner had. She counted out her chips and Topakas continued his stay athotel tank. After counting his own stack out Topakas made the fold and sent the pot to Weisner.

Bach Booming

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante
David Bach
David Bach

David Bach called the 725 chip raise from an early position player in order to see the {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} fall on the flop.

This time the aggressor elected to check and Bach would bet 1,225. A call from Bach's opponent would see the {9-Diamonds} roll off on the turn. This time both players checked with the flush and straight scare card quickly halting the action.

The {10-Hearts} on the river saw both players again check and when Bach tabled {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} it was good enough to take down the pot and move to 42,000.

After nearly two minutes in the tank, Kozlov cut out a four-bet of 7,500 to force Hachem's cards into the muck.

Ducks No Good for Kostritsyn

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

With a raise to 1,050 from under the gun, Alexander Kostritsyn made the call from the hi-jack before Joel Cohen three-bet to 3,000.

The original aggressor folded as Kostritsyn made the call to see a {8-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop fall with both players checking to see the {7-Clubs} land on the turn.

Kostritsyn fired out 4,000 and Cohen made the call before the {4-Spades} was checked through.

Kostritsyn tabled his {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, but it would be Cohen's {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} that would see him collect the pot as Kostritsyn slipped to 20,500 in chips.
