Lunardi Looting

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Our PokerNews reporter came to Kristian Lunardi's table with a board showing {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and the action on Lunardi after being led into for 8,500.

With almost 25,000 in the pot already Lunardi decided to move allin, making it 14,800 more to his opponent.

The player tanked for some time before making the fold and sending the pot to Lunardi.

Lunardi now sits with around 60,000.

Huber Check-Raise River to Victory

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Full Tilt Poker online qualifier Amichai Barer opened his button to 1,600 and found calls from Stefan Huber in the small blind and a third player from the large.

Huber led for 2,300 on the {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop with both active players making the call as the {8-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Huber checked and the big blind pushed out a 4,500-chip bet with both Barer and Huber smooth-calling as the {8-Clubs} completed the community cards.

Huber checked, the big blind fired out 9,000 as Barer folded. Huber however responded with a very cheeky check-raise all in for roughly 35,000 to produce a fold from the big blind.

With that pot, Huber moves to roughly 67,000 in chips.

Zheng's Bluff Goes Wrong

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

With the board reading {5-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} we found Jackson Zheng raising his opponent's 13,000-chip bet to 26,000.

His opponent went into the tank before eventually making the call with his {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} to best Zheng's bluff with {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Zheng is now down to 27,500 in chips.

Kirk Down Then Up

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

On a flop of {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Matthew Kirk fired out 2,000 only to get raised to 7,000.

He made the call to see the {6-Spades} fall on the turn, but opted to check-fold to a 12,500-chip bet.

Kirk is now down to 43,000, but quickly added a few more chips the following hand after firing a successful continuation-bet on the {Q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop to move back to roughly 50,000.

Sanders Sent Sadly

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

It's all over for Full Tilt Poker Online Qualifier Tirza Sanders, getting her stack in preflop with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} not quite good enough to keep her in contention.

Sanders would be faced with an allin and a call, before she too would see her tournament life on the line. Sanders was up against a dominated {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and as always seems to be the case, a dominating {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}.

But it wouldnt be the aces Sanders had to worry about as the board ran out {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, the nine on the flop taking down the pot and sending Sanders home.

Tony ain't too happy anymore!
Tony ain't too happy anymore!

Tony Hachem pushed for his last 7,000 as the button made the call.

Hachem: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

The {3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop was no good for Hachem, and once the {3-Clubs} and {K-Clubs} landed on the turn and river, Hachem was booted to the rail.

Reijmer Climbing Back

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

It seems as though Daniel Reijmer has dropped a bit since building to over 100,000 in chips, but he's been working lately to get those chips back. He raised under the gun to 2,000 and the player on the button moved all in for 6,700. Reijmer made the call with the lowest of all pairs, the {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. His opponent held the {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. The board ran out {K-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Reijmer won the pot.

On the next hand, Reijmer three-bet to 4,800 from the big blind after Andrew Scott raised from the cutoff seat to 2,000. Scott gave it up and Reijmer picked up some more chips.

On the very next hand, Reijmer was in the small blind. A player opened with a raise to 2,000 and Reijmer again three-bet to 4,800. The big blind and the original raiser folded to give Reijmer another pot. He's on about 80,000 now.

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

David Gorr raised to 2,200 before William Thorson reraised to 4,400. Gorr made the call and the flop came down {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Gorr checked and Thorson fired 4,800. Gorr check-raised to 10,500 and after a minute in the tank, Thorson let it go.

Gorr improved to 49,000 while Thorson dropped back to 19,500.
