Gorr Five-Bets

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Randy Lew opened with a raise to 9,000 from early position as David Gorr upped it on the button to 33,000.

With the action on James Keys in the big blind, he made it 80,000 straight as Lew's cards hit the muck.

Once the action was back on Gorr, his shaky hands slowly pushed in a stack of chips amounting to a five-bet of roughly 175,000.

Keys instantly mucked and Gorr claimed the pot to move to 310,000 in chips.

Colman and Phillips Bubble!

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Carter Phillips joins Julius Colman as bubble boy!
Carter Phillips joins Julius Colman as bubble boy!

It has taken just short of an hour, and over ninety-minutes of hand-for-hand play to see the bubble burst in the 2011 Aussie Millions Main Event!

Amazingly however, it wasn't one, but two players from separate tables that both busted on the same hand to put the remaining 71 players in the money.

Over on table twenty-seven we found Tyler Bonkowski opening to 9,500 with Julius Colman defending his big blind as both players checked the {J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop.

The turn of the {8-Diamonds} saw Colman check-raise all in for 32,000 over Bonkowski's 12,500-chip delayed continuation-bet. Bonkowski made the call.

Colman: {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Bonkowski: {K-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Unfortunately for Colman, the river landed the {10-Spades} to send him to the rail in joint seventy-second place for AUD$7,500.

Over on table ten at the same time we found Erick Lindgren making it 10,000 from the hi-jack only to have Carter Phillips three-bet the small blind to 21,000. Lindgren made it 46,000 and Phillips moved all in with Lindgren making the call.

Phillips: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Lindgren: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board filled out {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to see Phillips hit the rail in joint seventy-second place as Lindgren climbs to 320,000 in chips.

Celebrating a Cash

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

What do you do when you come back on Day 3 with just 31,500 and grind your short stack to a cash with just 12,500 of it left? You immediately call for cocktails and order a drink!

"Cocktails!" yelled Albert Albergo. "Could I get a bourbon and dry."

"You know it's early afternoon, right?" asked David Gorr next to Albergo.

"Oh, I know," responded Albergo.

Flopped Full for Keys

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Mike Sowers opened to 9,000 from under the gun and both Gabe Patgorski and James Keys made the call from the hi-jack and big blind respectively.

The {8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop was checked through to see the {3-Spades} land on the turn and a bet of 16,500 follow from Keys.

Sowers passed, but Patgorski made the call as the {A-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Keys pushed out a bet of 48,500 and Patgorski made the call, only to muck at the sight of Keys' {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

"Nice hand!" announced Patgorski as he slipped to 360,000 while Keys moved to 470,000 in chips.

Albergo Survives

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Tyler Bonkowski entered the pot for 9,500 before Albert Albergo committed his final 4,000. James Keys made the call from the button before folding to Bonkowski's 7,000-chip continuation-bet on the {K-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop.

Bonkowski: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Albergo: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Dink! The turn landed the {5-Diamonds} to see Albergo take the lead, and when the {5-Spades} landed on the river, he more than tripled to 22,000 in chips.

Vos' Queens Win

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Full Tilt Poker Red Pro Mark Vos raised from under the gun to 8,500. Michael Healy reraised from the cutoff to 17,500. Vos made the call.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Vos checked. Healy bet 15,500 and Vos made the call. The turn brought the {A-Diamonds} and paired the board. Vos checked and Healy bet 25,000. Vos called again. The river completed the board with the {2-Spades} and both players checked.

Vos' {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} beat Healy's {Q-Hearts}{10-} and Vos moved to 405,000 in chips. Healy dropped to 100,000.

Lukashaugen Legged by Antonius

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Patrik Antonius opened in early position to 10,000 and found a caller in Karib Karib before Tore Lukashaugen made it 36,000 to go from the small blind.

Antonius four-bet to 85,000 as Karib passed, before Lukashaugen moved all in for 260,000. Antonius instantly made the call.

Lukashaugen: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Antonius: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

With Lukashaugen crushed, the {8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board wouldn't bring him any salvation as he was bundled out for an AUD$15,000 payday.

Antonius on the other hand has soared to 880,000 in chips.
