We have just confirmed that the official number of entries for Day 1a of the 2011 Aussie Millions Main Event is 238, which is five more than last year. Currently, 190 players remain.

Granted, it's a very slight increase in the quantity, but as for the quality, it's a massive jump! With so many superstars in the field, plus the standard of play we've seen so far, it's shaping up for one of the most hotly contested Aussie Millions titles in history.

And regardless of how well the big names like Ivey, Antonius, Dwan et. al. perform today, they'll still be around for the rest of the week hitting up the High Stakes Cash Games, so there's plenty of opportunities to see your favorite players in action at Crown over the next few days.
