Nothing Can Go Wrong for Reijmer

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Daniel Reijmer can't do anything wrong here on Day 1c. Not only is he playing extremely aggressive, but he's also running super hot. How hot? Well, here's an example.

After a player opened with a raise to 750, Reijmer reraised from the button to 1,825. A lady in the small blind cold four-bet to 3,000. The original raiser folded and then there was a bit of discussion as to whether the four-bet was legal due to the amount. After the dealer worked things out in his head, he let the table know the reraise was fine.

Now, when a nice, innocent lady cold four-bets from the small blind after not playing a hand for nearly the entire tournament, people take notice. The entire table noticed what she did and started really paying attention to Reijmer to see what he would do. After a minute or so, Reijmer splashed out a bunch of chips to put the lady all in. The lady hemmed and hawed for a few minutes and then made the call for her 15,000 and change.

She held the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Reijmer didn't like what he saw. He tabled the {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. A look of "What did you expect?" came across many of the players at the table as they glanced around at one another. No worries though for Reijmer, he had the poker gods on his side in this one.

The flop, turn and river ran out {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts} to give Reijmer a full house and crack the lady's ladies. Reijmer gave a tiny smile to her and shrugged as she got up and out of her seat and hit the rail.

"The rich get richer," commented one of the players at the table.

Indeed they do and Reijmer is the richest of the bunch with 99,000 in chips.
