Jamie Perkins Eliminated in 21st Place (AUD$45,000)

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

From the cutoff seat, James Keys raised to 23,000. Jamie Perkins moved all in from the button for 110,000. Action then moved to Shane Sigsbee in the big blind and he moved all in. That knocked Keys out of the way and let Sigsbee and the at-risk Perkins go heads up.

Perkins had his life on the line with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. He was facing a race situation against Sigsbee's {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.

The flop came down paired with the {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades} hitting the green felt. Now, Sigsbee had additional outs to two pair. The turn brought even more outs when the {4-Hearts} fell and gave Sigsbee a flush draw. The river completed that draw with the {8-Hearts} and left Perkins with nothing but the felt in front of him. Sigsbee picked up the pot and the elimination to move to 580,000 in chips. Perkins earned AUD$45,000 for his finish.
