Flying Start for Ivey
It is always good to see Phil Ivey play in a poker tournament, and today he probably likes the way things are going as well. We didn't catch all the action, but in a hand where the board read 
Ivey bet 500 from the big blind. His opponent called and on the river, the 
, Ivey fired out 1,500 very rapidly.
His opponent threw in a 5,000 chip and Ivey removed his headphones, "Raise?", he asked, and the dealer said it was a call. Right away he turned over 
over for the nut straight and raked in another pot. Ivey is seated at a table with Mike Watson but apart from him we don't recognize any of the players.
