Dempsey Trys to Find the Fold Button

Table 25 has been a happy hunting ground for Jason Koon. The same cannot be said for James Dempsey. The two just clashed in a pot where a third player was all-in, and it didn't end well for the Brit.

We reached the action after the flop had fallen as {6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and the small blind had moved all-in for 23,100. Dempsey was in early position and raised up to 49,300. Koon called from the button and the action passed to the {q-Diamonds} turn. Dempsey slowed to a check and called when the American bet 30,000.

The river brought another queen in the {q-Clubs} and Dempsey checked. Koon bet 55,000 and this bet really got under Dempsey's skin. He went into the tank for a few minutes and tried to reason (sometime mumbling thoughts) what was going on. His instincts seemed to tell him to fold but he threw in the calling chips.

Koon opened {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}, beating Dempsey's {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

"How did you get there?" asked Dempsey. "I fold if it doesn't come a queen."
