Bach Savaged

David Bach is out after three-bet calling off his stack. There was an open to 5,500 that Ben Savage and Melanie Weisner called before Bach three-bet to 17,000, with 34,000 back. The original raiser folded but Savage set Bach all-in. Weisner folded, Bach did some maths in his head, called, and tabled {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

"You called?" asked Savage. "How can you call with that?" he continued without turning over his cards.

He eventually tabled {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and then left his chair, stuck his fingers in his ears, closed his eyes, and made noises to drown all his relevant senses from what was happening. He must've smelled victory as he quickly came back to the table after the board had run {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

Savage continued to give Bach a rubdown. Bach took it well and said his opponent could've had ace-king there.

Start-of-the-Day Chip Leader Holding Strong

Brett Watson was the chip leader at the start of the day, and he has managed to add a few chips to his stack here on Day 2, brining it to 308,000. We also caught up with Paul Sing, who freerolled his way into the Main Event by winning a Baccpo promotional tournament, and he is sitting with 115,000.

Gill Shoves Into Hinrichsen's Aces

A player in middle position opened for a raise, which was three-bet by Andrew Hinrichsen in the cutoff. Oliver Gill, who was sitting on the button, then four-bet, the original raiser folded, and Hinrichsen five-bet. Oliver didn't stop there as he six-bet all in, and we imagine he regretted it after Hinrichsen snap-called.

Showdown

Hinrichsen{A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Gill{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop gave Gill a gut-shot straight draw, but neither the {7-Clubs} turn nor {3-Diamonds} river completed it. Hinrichsen chipped up to 365,000 while Gill was sent to the rail.

Triple Eights For Wakeman

We didn't see any of the action leading to the all in, but Paul Singh got himself all in for 50,300 after a {6-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} flop. Manig Loeser had the covering stack, and his {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds} liked that flop very much. But not as much as Singh's {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts}. It was a set-over-set situation, and Singh was on the good end of it.

The turn {Q-Clubs} and river {A-Spades} didn't change anything, and Loeser has been cut back down under 100,000 after that cooler.

Nice River for Mellado

An under-the-gun player moved all in and was called by a shorter stack in early position. Andrew Melladp, who had both players covered, also made the call.

Showdown

Mellado{J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
EP{A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
UTG{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The {9-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{2-Spades} flop was kind to the EP player as it paired his king. The {Q-Hearts} was of no consequence, but the {J-Spades} spiked on the river to give Mellado trips. The table erupted in disbelief as Mellado raked in a moster pot and scored the double elimination.

Li Keeps Beating Tony G

Earlier they battled it out in a small pot and just now Li got the best of Tony G once again. Lee raise to 3,200 under the gun, and Tony three-bet to 8,000 from the button. After Li had made the call the flop brought out {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Lee check-called 12,000.

On the turn, the {K-Clubs}, and the river, the {5-Spades}, both players checked. Lee tabled {8-Spades}{7-Spades} and took down another pot.

Dwan Gives One Up To Ylitalo

From the cut-off Robin Ylitalo raised to 4,500 after the under the gun player had limped. Tom Dwan called from the button and the limper also committed the extra chips. The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Ylitalo made a 8,800 continuation bet. Dwan was the only caller as they went heads up to the turn.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and both players checked. On the river the {10-Hearts} hit and Ylitalo threw out a massive 27,100 bet. Dwan folded his cards and both players are now really close in chips.

The Croc Flops a Flush

Billy "The Croc" Argyros checked the monotone {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board before Peter Aristidou fired a bet of 10,500. Argyros check-raised to 25,000 and Aristidou made the call.

The turn card was the {6-Diamonds} and Argyros bet all in, covering the remaining stack of Aristidou, who had just under 60,000 left. Aristidou flashed the {A-Clubs} and folded. Argyros showed a flopped flush with the {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and pulled in the pot.
