We barely caught the action but in the last hand before the break Tom Grigg put a huge beating on Tom Dwan. On a board Grigg told us he put out a big bet and Dwan moved all-in. Grigg called with
and was up against
. A huge cooler and the river, the
, didn't change the outcome.
Dwan is down to just a few big blinds while Grigg is back to big stack play.

Billy "The Croc" Argyros has been getting steadily grumpier as his stack has been shrinking down toward the felt over the last couple levels. We watched him raise-fold with about 13bb during the last level, and he has been desperately squeezing out his hole cards, hoping to find something playable.
Finally, it happened. The Croc moved his last 36,500 chips into the pot after looking down at
, and he found favorable action from an opponent with
. The board came
, and Argyros has found his much-needed double.
"We're back, boys!" he yelled as the dealer pushed the pot, moving him up around 80,000 and back into the game. The smile has returned, as well.

We've reached the final eleven tables in this Main Event, and our 88 runners are now just two tables away from the money.
After a huge roller coaster Tom Dwan's day ended at the beginning of level 14. We got word from his former table mates that Dwan raised to 9,000 from the under the gun +1 position and David Steicke was the only player that called.
The flop came down and according to the table Dwan bet 20,000 with only 20,000 left behind. Steicke put him all-in and Dwan made the call.

Action folded to Taylor von Kriegenbergh in the cutoff and he raised to 8,000, which was met with an all-in three-bet to 58,000 by the player on the button. The blinds got out of the way and von Kriegenbergh made the call.

Von Kriegenbergh was way ahead, which is where he stayed as the board ran out . Not only did von Kriegenbergh eliminated an opponent, he brought his chip stack up over 200K.

Jason Koon has his chips stacked in an ever-changing pyramidal tower that's fairly hard to count down since we can't see inside of it. He just caught our eye as we were trying to guesstimate, and he stood up to have a go himself.
"I think I'm at eight," he said matter-of-fact. "Maybe just a tad under."
We'll take his word for it; his count is as close as we can get it ourselves. We'll call it 775,000 for the time being, and he's looking like the big stack for now.

Action folded to Oliver Speidel in the small blind and he raised to 12,000, which the big blind called. When the flop fell , Speidel bet 16,000, the big blind called, and the

river.
The big blind thought for about a minute before making the call, and Speidel rolled over for a rivered pair of kings. The big blind showed the
and then mucked his hand.

Fabian Quoss had played a really patient short-stacked game the past couple of levels, picking his spots carefully and chipping back up to 80,000. What happened next?
You find ace-queen and get action from one of the most aggressive players at the table (Ben Jenkins). Good spot, right? Qouss thought so and committed the rest of his chips, only to find Jenkins had woken up with pocket aces. Good game.
