Stanley Wu moved all in on the board for 164,000 against Mile Krstanoski with a little under 200,000 already in the pot. After a couple long minutes in the tank, Krstanoski called holding the . Wu tabled the .
"Hold up one time!" yelled Krstanoski as he waited for the river card.
The river card was the and Krstanoski successfully doubled up as he had called all in for less at 116,000.
Dennis Huntly has just been eliminated at the hands of Louie Srour. Huntly was all in preflop with the and up against the offsuit for Srour. Srour hit a king on the turn to win the hand and Huntly was sent to the rail.
Minh Nguyen's been having a killer day and just added some more chips to his stack. Nguyen raised to 19,000 from the cut-off and Patrick Healy called from the button. The flop came down and Nguyen bet 45,000 into Healy who made the call.
On the turn the hit and Nguyen check-called 60,000. On the river the popped up and Nguyen checked once more. Healy threw out 70,000 this time and Nguyen called once again. Healy shrugged and mucked his cards so we didn't get to see any at this showdown. Nguyen mucked as well and raked in the pot.
From the cutoff seat, Ioannis Makris raised to 17,000. Action folded to Bjorn Li in the big blind and he reraised to put Makris all in. Makris had about 220,000 behind and tanked for a couple minutes before eventually folding his hand.
The end of Michael Pedley's tournament began when he opened the button and received calls from Yann Dion in the small blind and Minh Nguyen in the big blind.
Flop:
Yann Dion led for 36,000 on the flop and Nguyen flatted. It was then Pedley's turn to act on the button and he shoved his stack all in, having around 100,000. Dion got out of the way and Nguyen snap-called.
Nguyen turned over his for a flopped set, well ahead of Pedley's . When the turn and river bricked, Pedley was sent out the door in 34th place. Pedley receives another $30,000 AUD to go along with the $122,670 AUD he received in the rebuys event just last week.
David Steicke opened the pot before Pat Dillon woke up with . He jammed his 60,000-chip stack in and the rest of the table folded before Louie Srour re-shoved in the big blind. Steicke got out of the way and unfortunately for Dillon, Srour tabled .
No help came for Dillon and he was sent home in 35th place, picking up $30,000 AUD on his way out the door.
