Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

When the flop came down {5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Cabret led out for 150,000 and Antonius thought for a solid minute before raising to 450,000. Chan Continues to Climb

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Joseph Cabret opened for 85,000 on the button and received calls from Mervin Chan and Jarrod Glennon in the small and big blind respectively. Two checks on the {3-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop put action on Cabret, and he continued for 140,000. Only Chan called and then both players checked the {4-Clubs} turn and {3-Hearts} river.

Cabret tabled the {A-Diamonds}{5-} for fives and threes, but it was no good as Chan held {K-}{J-} for a bigger two pair.

Antonius checked, Cabret fired 290,000, and Antonius tank-folded.

[Removed:17] Eliminated in 6th Place (AU$220,000)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
[Removed:17] - 6th Place
[Removed:17] - 6th Place

New Zealand's [Removed:17] open-shoved for 780,000 under the gun and received a call from Mervin Chan in the cutoff. The button and both blinds folded and the cards were turned up.

Yan: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Chan: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

It was a bad spot for the SuperNova Elite as he had run pocket eights into a bigger pocket pair. According to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, Chan was an 81.31% favorite and Yan only had a 18.23% chance of survival. That dropped to 13.23% on the {2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, which gave him a running straight draw, but the useless {3-Hearts} turn bumped him down to just 4.55%.

Yan needed an eight on the river to survive, but it wasn't in the cards as the {7-Clubs} peeled off. With that, Yan was eliminated in sixth place for AU$220,000.

Antonius & Glennon Continue to Square Off

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded around to Jarrod Glennon in the small blind and he raised to 80,000. Patrik Antonius called from the big and it was heads-up action to the {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop. Glennon led out for 80,000 and then called when Antonius raised to 200,000.

When the {3-Diamonds} turned, Glennon led out again, this time for 215,000, and it was enough to get the job done as Antonius insta-folded.
