Quoss Busts and Reloads

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Right before the break it was Fabian Quoss who lost all his chips in two hands versus Jonathan Karamalikis. The board read {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} with about 20,000 chips in the pot when Karamalikis moved all in for 22,400. Quoss made the call and mucked when Karamalikis showed {J-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a rivered pair of nines.

On the very next hand the board showed {2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{A-Spades} when Quoss ended up all in for his tournament life. The German showed {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and was ahead against Karamalikis' {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

"Bink," Karamalikis said right before the dealer put the {6-Spades} on the river giving the Aussie a straight. Quoss was knocked out and decided to give it another go. He's back in the tournament.
