Kurganov Shows The Air Ball

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

The flop read {K-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Fabian Quoss check-called a 5,100-chip bet from Igor Kurganov. On the turn the {A-Clubs} showed up and both players checked.

The river brought out the {2-Clubs} and Quoss check-called 15,100. Kurganov slammed his {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} on the table as if he had the nuts. Quoss smiled and turned over {K-Spades}{7-Hearts} to take down the pot.

Karamalikis Bounces Genius

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Chris Lee raised to 5,000 in the cutoff seat, and Jonathan Karamalikis reraised to 12,500 on the button. Action folded back to Lee, and he went into the tank for a little bit. After a minute or so, Lee looked at the dealer and announced that he was all in. Karamalikis made the quick call.

Karamalikis held the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, and Lee had the {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Lee was at risk for roughly 65,000 in chips.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} to give Karamalikis a set of jacks. The turn was the {7-Diamonds}, which meant Lee could chop the pot with a ten on the river. The river was the {K-Diamonds}, though, and Lee was eliminated.

Elio Fox just ended up all in preflop against Erik Seidel and the stacks of both players were almost even. Fox had 69,000 against Seidel's 72,000 and the cards were flipped on their backs.

Schemion Extends His Lead, Pritchard Eliminated

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Ole Schemion raised to 4,800 under the gun and Jason Pritchard three-bet all in for 33,600 more. Schemion called and we got to see another all in showdown.

Schemion: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Pritchard: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

The flop brought {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Pritchard said, "Well that was a good flop," as he got up from the table and left almost right away.

The turn brought the {10-Spades} and the river the {Q-Spades} ending Pritchard's tournament run.

Karamalikis vs Rubie part 1

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

It's common knowledge that Brendon Rubie and Jonathan Karamalikis aren't the best of friends and things could heat up today as they are seated right next to each other. Karamalikis just one the first battle between the two and we think this could be the first of many pots the two play.

The flop read {2-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} when Karamalikis bet 3,500 from the small blind and Rubie called from the big.

On the turn the {J-Hearts} hit and both players checked. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and again the action was checked again. Karamalikis showed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and took down this pot.

Hachem Doubles

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Joe Hachem was all in for 41,500 with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} against the {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for Mark Teltscher. Although Hachem was dominated, the {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop gave him a world of outs.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} to give Hachem the flush and the double before the {6-Clubs} completed the board on the river.
