Kurganov Gets There To Bust Kho

Level 7 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Igor Kurganov opened the action from the cutoff seat to 6,000, and then play folded over to Kitson Kho in the small blind. He three-bet to 16,000, and Kurganov called.

On the {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, Kho bet 22,500, and Kurganov made the call to see the {5-Hearts} land on the turn. Kho moved all in for 44,300, and Kurganov made the call, although he did so somewhat reluctantly. Kho had the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, proving Kurganov's intuition correct with the second-best {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}.

But, the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the river and gave Kurganov a winning two pair. He won the pot to send Kho to the rail and moved to about 242,000 in chips.

McDonald Busts Trickett

Level 7 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Sam Trickett was just eliminated at the hands of Mike McDonald. Trickett held {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and McDonald the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to give McDonald the flush, and he easily held from there to win the pot and knock Trickett out.

Rast Gone Again

Level 7 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Brian Rast
Brian Rast

Brian Rast has busted once again, this time falling at the hands of Jeff Rossiter, who has moved up to 353,000 in chips.

Rast had opened from the hijack seat to 5,500, and then Rossiter reraised to 15,500 from the cutoff seat. Play folded back to Rast, and he moved all in for around 110,000-115,000. Rossiter quickly called and tabled the {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. Rast had the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and was looking to win the flip to double up.

Unfortunately for Rast, the flop, turn, and river ran out {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} to send him packing for the third time today.

Level 7 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

From under the gun, Phil Ivey raised to 5,500. Isaac Haxton reraised to 15,500 from the hijack seat, and play folded back to Ivey. He thought about it for a little, but folded in the end and Haxton won the pot.
