Cates Back In; Chidwick Out

O'Dwyer Busts Cates with Quads

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Daniel Cates moved all in on the {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop and he was called by Steve O'Dwyer. Cates had the {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, but he was drawing very, very, very dead against the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} for O'Dwyer who had flopped quad aces. The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river the {10-Hearts} to send Cates packing.

Haxton Doubles Through Mizzi

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Isaac Haxton was all in for his last 6,900 with the {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} against the {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for Sorel Mizzi. The flop, turn, and river ran out {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, and Haxton doubled up.

Buddiga Back In

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Stern Busts Buddiga

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Dani Stern and Praytush Buddiga were all in preflop, with Stern holding the best of it and the most chips. It was Stern's {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} up against the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for Buddiga, and the board ran out {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{6-Spades} to give Stern the win.

Stern Gets Lucky to Double Big Through Heimiller

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

"All in and a call, Table 7," we heard the dealer yell. We made our way over to discover a preflop raising war resulted in Dani Stern getting his stack of 115,800 all in against Dan Heimiller.

Heimiller: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Stern: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Heimiller was out in front with his ladies, and Stern was looking for some help. He found it too when the {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} delivered him an ace. Neither the {8-Diamonds} turn nor {A-Diamonds} river helped Heimiller, and he sent the vast majority of his stack over to Stern.

"I Never Hit"

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

With around 30,000 in the pot and a board reading {7-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, action exploded between Steve O'Dwyer and Daniel Cates and resulted in the former being all in for 51,100.

O'Dwyer: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Cates: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

O'Dwyer had turned a set, which was out in front of Cates, who held an open-ended straight draw to go with a flush draw.

"I never hit," Cates bemoaned after the {4-Hearts} blanked on the river. Ship the double to O'Dwyer.
