Dermot Blain is one of Ireland's best poker players and he fins himself at one of the trickiest tables in the room with Matthew Aston and Jorn Walthaus for company.
His play had been aggressive from the off and was proving profitable until he had to let a hand go on the river when battling heads up with his neighbour to his right.
He three-bet his opponent's opening raise of 250 up to 700. Blain saw this raise and bets of 800 and 1,750 called as the board rolled out as 
. Things changed on the river though as Blain faced a 2,800 bet that made his mind up to fold.
