Four years ago, David Gorr topped a field of 721 players to win the Aussie Millions Main Event for AUD$1,600,000. Gorr, who is a member of the Australian Poker Hall of Fame, was in today's field, but his time in it came to an end just prior to the break.
We missed his elimination, but from what Angel Guillen told us, Gorr got his stack all in preflop holding 
only to run into the 
of his opponent. The board ran out clean, and Gorr's shot at a second Aussie Millions Main Event title went up in smoke... at least for another year.
