"Ohhhhh... I Win a Hand Against You"

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Joel Douaglin opened for 60,000 from the cutoff and Anthony Legg called from the button. The blinds both folded, the flop came down {10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}, and Legg called a bet of 80,000 from Douaglin. The {5-Clubs} turn saw Douaglin bet 125,000, and again Legg just called.

Both players proceeded to check the {4-Clubs} river and Douaglin rolled over the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of aces. Legg mucked and Douaglin was clearly excited.

"Ohhhhhh... I win a hand against you, finally!" Douaglin shouted as he stood from his chair and shot his arms in the air. It was certainly the most energy we've seen from Table 31 in quite some time.

Levy Doesn't Believe Lyndaker

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Richard Lyndaker
Richard Lyndaker

Richard Lyndaker won a decent sized pot off Grant Levy in a battle of the blinds and will head into the dinner break the happier of the two.

The two players were in the blinds with Lyndaker pushing the action all the way. Levy completed from the small blind and called a raise to 75,000; then went on to check-call bets of 80,000, 135,000 and 315,000 as the board rolled out {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

Lyndaker opened {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} on showdown and Levy nodded and mucked.

A Pair of Aces for Lynskey

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

After James Rann checked the {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Ami Barer bet 93,000. Behind him, Alex Lynskey made the call, and then Rann came along as well.

The turn was the {A-Hearts}, and Rann and Barer both checked. Lynskey bet 145,000, Rann folded, and Barer called.

The river was the {9-Spades}, and both players checked.

Lynskey tabled the {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and Barer mucked his hand.

Levy Gets Some Back

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Grant Levy didn't have a good end to the last level but he won a small pot to kick off this level.

He was in the big blind and called a 70,000 button raise from Raiden Kan to see a {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop. Kan continued for 60,000 and was check-called before the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} turn and river were checked through. Levy opened {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} and took the pot as Kan mucked.

Rast and Barer Battling

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

From the small blind, Brian Rast raised to 80,000. Ami Barer reraised to 230,000 from the big blind, and Rast tank-folded.

Shortly thereafter, Rast opened with a raise from the cutoff seat, and then Barer made it 200,000 to go on the button. Play folded back to Rast, and he moved all in. Barer folded, and Rast won the pot.

And I Rann, I Rann So Far Away

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

After Manny Stavropoulos opened from the button to 65,000, James Rann reraised all in for 410,000 from the small blind. Brian Rast folded his big blind, and then Stavropoulos went into the tank. Eventually, he made the call with the {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, but his hand was well behind the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} that Rann turned over.

The flop, turn, and river ran out an easy {J-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and Rann doubled up.

You Can't Push Around Douaglin

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Joel Douaglin limped from the cutoff, and that inspired Raiden Kan to do the same from the small blind. Lennart Uphoff checked his option for the big and three players saw a flop of {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Two checks saw Douaglin bet 60,000, Kan check-raised to 155,000, and Uphoff quickly got out of the way.

"I'm all in," Doaglin announced. Kan snap-folded.
