Dionisopolous Takes the Lead

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Matt Salsberg lost a couple of big blinds against the shove of a short stack with {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} versus {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}, the board {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} didn't leave much hope for an upset. Shortly after, the American got into a three-way pot with Sam Higgs and George Dionisopolous.

On the {4-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop, all three players invested 3,100 chips and then Salsberg checked the {A-Diamonds} river. Higgs fired 6,900 and Dionisopolous called, whereas the American mucked. Higgs showed {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a busted straight and flush draw while Dionisopolous took it down with {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.
