Correa busts Kambouroglou

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Tony "toothpick" Kambouroglou was last spotted with around 6,000 in chips and those just vanished. The cards were already rushed away, but Kambouroglou got it in with the {A-}{J-} and early chip leader Neil Correa looked him up with the {A-}{K-} to emerge victorious.

Jordan Kaplan
Jordan Kaplan

Rory Young has been eliminated and the player next to him vanished as well, sending his stack over to Jordan Kaplan. The American shoved into a big bet on a nine-high flop with pocket queens and his opponent called with pocket jacks to dodge the two-outer. Kaplan also four-bet raised against the opponent from one seat over without getting a call this time.

Adding Karlic to the VIP Table

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Only two tables remain in the secondary tournament area as the third table broke seconds ago. Among those to find a new home were Nathan Gubieski and Gerald Karlic with the latter grabbing a new seat right next to Xuan Liu. This makes the table of the "Idealistic Poker Heroine" (according to her Twitter profile) even more interesting, expect some fireworks here.

Aristidou Above Starting Stack

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

In a heads-up pot to the flop {6-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Peter Aristidou faced a bet of 750 and raised to 2,000. The dealer initially announced a call only before other players at the table corrected him and the opponent of Aristidou threw his cards into the muck not much later. The Australian moved back above starting stack, while Scott Davies at the same table is still grinding with around 22 big blinds.

Bindon Binks the Turn

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On a three-way flop of {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, a raise to 1,550 was in front of the initial raiser from early position and Tim Bindon from one seat over called. The player on the button then raised to 3,600 and the initial raiser folded whereas Bindon moved all in. "You got a four?" Bindon immediately asked and was met with a nod by his opponent.

Bindon: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Button: {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The dealer burned and turned the {10-Spades} to leave the player on the button with one out only and Bindon's double up for 8,575 was complete once the {K-Hearts} appeared on the river.

Colman Up; Dunst Down

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

The tables of Tony Dunst and Julius Colman are not too far apart whereas the chip counts have recently moved into different directions. Dunst check-folded the river of a board {8-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{7-Spades} to a bet of 1,200 whereas Colman also got involved into a hand out of the big blind as well.

Colman check-called the flop {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts} when facing a bet worth 500 whereas Bruno Portaro folded from early position, a fourth player in the hand mucked as well. The remaining duo checked through the {K-Diamonds} turn before Colman then bet the {5-Hearts} river for 850. His opponent sighed and folded.
